Dr. Ali will be collecting testimonials on an ongoing basis. If you have a story you would like to share with others, please send it her way! A BIG THANKS to those who have contributed. Your kind words mean a lot!
"Dr. Ali has a very gentle, intuitive, patient approach with the horses-being equally good with the pushy pocket ponies and the very nervous horses. She asks lots of questions regarding any issues I'm dealing with to guide her. She handles my friendly, pushy, but surprisingly sensitive horse with tact and patience. She has made an enormous difference in Frisco's level of comfort. The adjustments have helped him remain supple and willing to work even with an extremely heavy workload. Frisco earned four major championships in 2014, and we could not have done it without Dr. Ali's help! Frisco has even learned to help Dr. Ali with some of his adjustments! I have also benefited from her treatments and her work has improved the symmetry in my hips. Frisco and I always look forward to her visits!"

"I wish you could have been here to see Colby (15-year-old Australian Cattle Dog/Whippet mix) run into the backyard - romping and bounding and leaping in pure joy! He played with Cassie (our 10-year-old Australian Cattle Dog/Border Collie mix) as he raced around the yard, executing sharp turns. I went out to join them, and Colby deliberately jumped over a small bush in his excitement to come see me.
The adjustments made a huge difference in his activity level within a very short time. He is also much more balanced when walking or standing on the smooth floors inside the house. Even his "sit" isn't as slow and awkward as it has been recently. As I was preparing his dinner, he briefly stood on his hind legs to get his nose a little closer to the counter, which he has never done before! Given his incredible improvement, I will definitely be bringing him back.
Thanks for all you've done for Colby!"

"Ten month old Milo (Shitzu/Bischon) was lethargic, not eating, and wanting to be held. He acted like a ten year old. Traditional veterinary medicine was unable to identify the problem. Tests/labs remained normal. Milo had exhibited these symptoms periodically since ten weeks of age. I needed an alternative approach.
Animal Care Center was able to schedule Milo immediately. Dr. Grover spent an hour with him/us. Professional, patient, thorough, and gentle describe the adjustment. Milo exhibited no sign of discomfort. Dr. Grover adjusted several locations in his spine and neck.
Milo slept for the next ten hours. Abruptly he woke up and came to life. He was the ten month old I knew him to be! He leapt onto the sofa higher than I had ever seen him jump. I think it surprised him!
Milo remains healthy. Dr. Grover and my vet (Dr. Katie Dohman) work in tandem to keep him that way. Quite a team! My only regret is that I did not go for chiropractic care earlier in his life. Try it. What have you got to lose?"

"Roxy is a 19 yr old Arabian mare that lead a very active life as a trail horse and Endurance horse, until she slipped and fell from a foot-bridge about 3 feet from the ground. There was no obvious damage, but after time off to recoup, she seemed off in her gait. I tried a local vet who used his form of manipulation, but it made no difference. I tried laser treatments, but no lasting difference. I have used Legend and other injectable medications similar to that, but they had only limited effects. Roxy was placed on daily Previcox, with Bute to be used the day of a ride, and was doing ok, but I really was not happy about giving my horse medications that have the potential of serious side effects. After just ONE adjustment by Dr. Alissa Grover, and a few days between that and being ridden, Roxy was moving out at a walk so much more smoothly, and a trot even more noticeably smoother. It was incredible! She had spunk and sass again! I purposely held back giving her Previcox or Bute so I would be able to see the actual difference. I was impressed with how much of a difference just one adjustment made. Roxy has since made a big difference in her ability to move out again. I am able to post on either diagonal, something I have not been able to do for quite some time. I am also able to let her canter, as it has smoothed out again. She is not in obvious discomfort going downhill. Roxy will be adjusted again and I am sure the improvements will continue! Many thanks to Dr. Alissa Grover for giving me back my horse!"

"Dr. Ali is amazing! I first met her when my Cocker Spaniel, Charlee had a bulging disk and a pinched nerve in her back. She could not walk at all after losing all feeling and strength in her back legs. Another vet told me she would need surgery and he sent me home with pain meds to decide what I wanted to do.
I found Dr. Ali! After just one chiropractic adjustment, some Reiki and a lot of love my Charlee was walking! I was amazed. She needed a few more treatments but eventually she started to act like her old self again.
If you need a miracle Dr. Ali is who you need to see. Thank you so much Dr. Ali for all the love and kindness that you have given us. I also thank you for truly caring about Charlee, making time during your busy day to call and see how she is doing. I'll be a client for life."

"For the past two decades, my wife and I have benefited personally from chiropractic care. However, we never considered that chiropractic care would be something that would benefit a family pet.
Earlier this year we were “adopted” by our first pet . . . a little Snowshoe cat we named Anya. After living with Anya for a few months, we became aware that she was having a few issues with her back. Then, just by chance, I read an article in PETS IN THE CITY magazine by Dr. Alissa Grover about chiropractic care for cats. Having just had our vet suggest a chiropractic treatment for Anya, we made an appointment with Dr. Ali in November.
Dr. Ali, who is trained in human and animal chiropractic and energy work, was not only able to determine by “touch” the issues that were affecting Anya’s back, she was also able to use muscle testing to aid as a diagnostic tool. This skill helps to determine what type of adjustment would be in the best interest of the patients she works with. And since none of her patients can actually “talk”, this skill can be a great benefit to their general well-being. Also, Dr. Ali uses Reiki on her patients. This helps to provide additional energy and healing to the animal. As a long-time beneficiary of Reiki myself, I was very impressed that she is trained in the use of this modality for animals as well.
Anya responded beautifully to Dr. Ali’s adjustments and energy work, and we just completed a follow-up visit in early January.
The thing we like most about Dr. Ali is that she is a loving and sensitive care-giver who is dedicated to using her skills to help our animal companions. During appointments, she is generous with her time, informative, fun and friendly, yet extremely professional. We have already recommended her to a number of our friends, and will continue to take Anya for regular office visits to keep her “on her toes”.
Thank you, Dr. Ali, for bringing your remarkable skills to Utah, and for your sensitive and loving care of our little kitty."

"My horse Romeo has been being treated by Ali for over a year. I give her 5 stars and would give her more stars if it would let me! She is brilliant, excellent and a true healer! I've had her work on my lab Zoe and in two treatments she is back out chasing the ball. Thanks Ali & Animal Care Center!"

"Very pleased with Dr. Grover at the Animal Care Center in Bountiful. Hayden is feeling and moving so much better since her adjustment. Hayden loved Dr. Grover as well, she was a very good girl during her visit last week and the change in her movement is amazing I can tell she is feeling much better!! It made a world of difference. Her movement in her hind legs was just "off", nothing serious, but we wanted to get her in and I am glad we did. We couldn't be happier with the service we recieved and the results. We look forward to bringing Hayden back in a few weeks for her next visit."

"I just have to say that Dr. Grover at Animal Care Center is amazing!!! If you are looking for a good chiropractor for your dog go see her! This was Hayden's 3rd time going to see her and Herky goes in on Saturday. Hayden has always been a little off in her hind right leg and we are finally getting it worked out. She took the time to tell me about the differences from each visit and if they were good or bad. We talked about what could have caused it could be from some thing that happened as a very young puppy or something with her growing. She also took the time to massage her really well to loosen her up before the adjustment. Hayden also absolutely adores her and trusts her."

"Just wanted to give a shout out to Animal Care Center! My American Bulldog hurt his biceps tendon one year ago this week. I hopped from Vet to Vet and FINALLY came across Animal Care center In late October. At this point I had spent SEVERAL THOUSAND dollars and HUNDREDS of hours rehabbing my dogs shoulder. Dr. Verona did acupuncture on him a couple of times and then we coupled it with Dr. Grover doing chiropractic adjustments on him. As of November 20th he was still limping while walking. But we continued chiropractic...December was the last adjustment my dog had. I am so happy to announce that my dog is 100% healed!!! He can now hike, run, jump, bite work, and started light conditioning weight pull WITH ZERO LIMPING and I OWE it all to the amazing Dr's and staff at the Animal Care Center. I have to drive 45 min ONE WAY for a vet appointment but it is SO worth it. I highly recommend them for all your pets needs! THANK YOU FOR FIXING MY BEST FRIEND!!!!"

"Thanks to Animal Care Center, my senior Pomeranian mix is back to acting like a puppy! During the past few months, I noticed that he was starting to slow down and show his age. Last week, he was in a lot of pain and was not eating. I took him to Animal Care Center and found out that he had a pinched nerve in his back and spondylosis. Dr. Kara and the rest of the staff were so sweet with him! I took him back to Animal Care Center a few days later to get a chiropractic adjustment from Dr. Ali to see if that would help him some more. Wow! What a difference that made! The next day he was back to his normal, happy self!
I absolutely love Animal Care Center! I am so grateful for the love and care they have given my dog over the last couple of years. The whole staff is so caring and knowledgeable. I wouldn't take my dog anywhere else!"

"I just need to tell you something funny and interesting about Sophie since being treated by you. In the past she has not liked other dogs very much, growls at them and gives them firm barks for them to get away from her. It all began when our son's big, clumsy three-month-old golden retriever would interact with her playfully and hurt her. She became fearful of being hurt again and from then on has steered clear from all other dogs after that. The only thing different in her life is your adjustments and energy work. Now she walks up confidently, wagging her tail to any strange dog, sniffing and getting acquainted. Our son babysat her for three days last week with his two big golden retrievers. He said it was really interesting because she never acted anxious or got upset and barked at them to get away from her. Once or twice he said she barely curled her lip just a little but that's all. Isn't energy work amazing?! She even now initiates and coaxes playing with our daughter's dog whom she previously ignored. She was under a year when she was hurt by the big puppy and now, 4 years later, her fear and apprehension are now gone."
